The talk will first explain the fundamentals of lattices and the hard
problems associated with them. We will then examine how these hard problems
can be used to achieve cryptographic goals; in particular encryption and
signing protocols. The talk will pay particular attention to the lattices
used in the NTRU algorithms because of their succinct presentation.
