In order to increase the quality of non-rigid warping
algorithms it is necessary to develop a biomechanical model of the
brain. The recent availability of MR volumes acquired during brain
surgery procedures gives access to in-vivo measurments of brain
deformation under different intra-operative conditions. We have applied
different algorithms on those data sets. Initial results are very
promising.
