Introduction to quantum computing I

Fang Song
Portland State University

This lecture will introduce the basic formalism of quantum information (e.g., qubit, unitary operation, and measurement) and properties (e.g., superposition, entanglement, no-cloning). Then we will introduce the quantum circuit model, and study basic quantum information processing protocols (e.g., teleportation) and elementary quantum algorithms (e.g., Deutsch-Josza).
