We will discuss the following result : Theorem : Let E be a compact subset of the Heisenberg group (endowed with its Carnot-Carath\'eodory metric). If E satisfies Peter Jones'Geometric Lemma, then E is contained in a rectfifiable curve. (joint with F. Ferrari and B. Franchi)
