This presentation focuses on highlighting some of the challenges I repeatedly encounter when trying to apply novel measurement techniques within a large ISP in practice. I will also present an introduction of the GS tool which we have built to address a variety of measurement goals. The GS tool allows us to quickly implement a large collection of novel algorithms within a reusable infrastructure at any line rate commercially available today.
