Many Individual-Based Pedestrian models have been proposed in the literature.
Some of them rely in the view of pedestrians as rational agents optimizing their trajectory in order to fulfill their goal [1] in game theoretical framework. In this talk, we propose a macroscopic model based on [1] and show how the search for local equilibria amounts to finding the Nash equilibrium of a suitable game. This is joint work with C. Appert-Rolland, M. Moussaid, J. Pettre and G. Theraulaz.
