In this presentation, we will review how the new business model of Fintech firms make intensive use of data analytics techniques and require teaching new skill sets. The demand for data scientists is such that it is critical for graduate programs in the country to reevaluate their curricula if they are to survive competition and meet the demand for data science expertise within the financial and technology industries.
